Student of the Year Awards announced at Northland Community & Technical College

Northland Community & Technical College has announced their 2022 Student of the Year Awards that have been presented to East Grand Forks student Sonia Dickmu and Thief River Falls student Morgan Burns. This honor is awarded annually to graduating students who have shown outstanding commitment to their chosen profession.

City postpones spring clean-up due to rain, rising river

The City of Crookston announced Monday, May 9 that its Spring Clean-Up event has been postponed until further notice. "Due to the river once again rising and the wet conditions, the City crews are unable to get to the designated sites that are used to dispose of clean-up items," said the city in a media release. "The City appreciates your patience in this matter."

Nominees sought for Polk County Fair Outstanding Senior Citizen Award

The Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, Inc’s Senior Programs Department is excited to be partnering with the Polk County Fair Board in planning the special Senior Citizen Day at the Polk County Fair.
