Minnesota Crookston Announces Anne Prudhomme as Head Trap Coach

The University of Minnesota Crookston athletic department announced the hiring of Anne Prudhomme as head trap coach. Prudhomme is the second coach in the program’s history, replacing Andy Gjerswold who resigned after three seasons as head coach.

2022 Outstanding Senior Citizen Award nominations sought

The Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, Inc’s Senior Programs department is excited to be partnering with the Polk County Fair Board in planning the special Senior Citizen Day at the Polk County Fair. Senior Citizen Day will be held on Friday July 8, 2022 starting at 9:30 a.m. with all the normal music, entertainment, awards, Bingo, and most importantly laughter.

CHS music students performed at Valley Fair May 21

Crookston High School Music Department took around 70 students from band, choir and orchestra, plus several 8th grade band students to Valleyfair in Shakopee, MN for a performance at the park and some end of the year fun May 21.

Grand Theatre debuts movie membership cards

Crookston's Grand Theatre has debuted movie membership cards just in time for summer break and for every four movie tickets you purchase you'll receive a free movie ticket. The theater started handing out the new cards with the opening of "Top Gun: Maverick" which earned over $150 million in its first weekend - a record box office debut for actor Tom Cruise.
