The University of Minnesota Crookston men’s basketball team split the weekend, earning its third conference win against Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU) 70-67. The Golden Eagles’ loss on the weekend came to Sioux Falls 47-73.

NDSCS announces Fall 2021 President’s Honor list

The North Dakota State College of Science has named 413 students to its fall semester 2021 President’s Honor List including Ellie Schmitz of Fisher who is majoring in Business Management. The Honor List recognizes students who have achieved grade point averages of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credits with letter grades.

Whitney Place appointed Farm Service Agency Executive Director

Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) Assistant Commissioner Whitney Place has been appointed to serve as the Executive Director of the USDA's Farm Service Agency (FSA) Minnesota office. Place has been with the MDA since 2012, serving in multiple capacities. In her new post she will oversee operations and agriculture policy implementation in Minnesota.
