Francis David Devos Jr., 76, of Crookston passed away Monday afternoon, January 9, 2023, at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, N.D. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston. DNR to fly elk surveys in northwest Minnesota

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will conduct aerial elk surveys beginning the second week of January. DNR staff will survey the Kittson County and Grygla elk herds in northwestern Minnesota and the border elk herd in both Minnesota and Manitoba.
