Times Report
Crookston Times

Big or small, steep or with a gentle incline, if there was a hill in Crookston over Christmas weekend, chances are kids and families were sledding down it at some point.

A hill most friendly to the littlest, youngest sledders can be found in Schuster Park.

A hill most friendly to the littlest, youngest sledders can be found in Schuster Park, and Darin and Leah Zimmerman of Crookston, pictured standing on the far left and far right on Sunset Avenue, made multiple treks to sled there over the weekend with Leah’s sister, front right, Madalyn “Maddi” Rambousek. Maddi’s husband, Lance, is standing in the middle in the back. Their son, Braeden, in the sled with Maddi, wasn’t particularly keen on getting his photo taken after sledding in the park at the bottom of the hill. The Rambousek family lives in Bismarck, North Dakota. Leah and Darin’s kids, Drake and Thea, are seated left to right in the wagon.
