WILLING — Two men were arrested Sunday morning when State Police responded to a report of a gun being fired during a fight Sunday on state Route 248.

Troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation charged Brian J. Black, 41, of Willing, with count of second-degree criminal possession of Weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment and Rickie A. Moultrup, 38, of Alma, with second-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

At around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, troopers were dispatched to a Route 248 residence. Investigation at the scene found that two men became involved in a fight when one returned a female resident home to that address.

During the altercation Moultrup allegedly started striking a vehicle with a claw hammer and then struck Black. The fight continued and Black allegedly fired a pistol, striking the windshield of a vehicle.

Both were arraigned in Willing Town Court and each was sent to the county jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.  Both subjects had stay-away orders of protection issued at court as well.
