Former Minnesota Crookston pitcher Zach Seipel recovered from a rough outing a week ago and picked up his second win of the season as the Gulf Coast League Braves beat the GCL Red Sox 6-4.

The right-hander, in his second year in the Atlanta Braves organization, threw five innings of one-hit ball in relief against the Red Sox, struck out four and walked two.

In his last eight innings, Seipel has allowed only two hits.

Seipel improved to 2-3 on the year and lowered his season ERA between the Danville Braves and the GCL Braves to 3.32.
