The Warriors won 18-4 and 9-5.

CROOKSTON - The Warriors totaled 27 runs across two games and capitalized on 15 Crookston (2-6) errors to sweep with 18-4 and 9-5 wins.

    Crookston led Game 1 3-1 with the help of an RBI single from Brooks Butt (Fr. 3B), but Warroad (11-1) retaliated with 17 unanswered runs including eight in the seventh inning.

    The two clubs went back and forth in Game 2 as the Warriors led 7-5 through four. For the second straight game, Warroad used a backbreaking seventh inning, scored two more and closed out the 9-5 victory.

    Offensive support for Crookston came from Leyton Salentine (Jr. SS) who collected a pair of hits and RBIs.

    The Pirates next play in Greenbush against BGMR on Thursday, May 16 at 4:30 p.m.
