Odor surpasses the three awards earned by Katrina Nordick during the 2015-16 season.
BURNSVILLE, Minn. – University of Minnesota Crookston women’s basketball player Isieoma Odor (R-Sr., F/C, Bloomington, Minn.) set a school record with her fourth NSIC Player of the Week award for the 2018-19 season. Odor’s four Player of the Week accolades surpasses the three awards earned by Katrina Nordick during the 2015-16 season.
Odor was selected NSIC North Player of the Week after falling just one point shy of her career high with 28 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two steals, in a 73-63 win over Bemidji State University. Odor was 9-of-16 from the field for 56.3 percent. She shot 10-of-12 from the charity stripe for 83.3 percent. Odor also earned NSIC North Player of the Week honors Nov. 13, Nov. 19, and Dec. 3.
She is averaging 19 points and 9.3 rebounds per game as she has had an astounding start to the 2018-19 campaign. Odor has scored in double figures in all 12 games this season for UMC. She has averaged 28.5 points in the last two games for the Golden Eagles as she has put forth her two best scoring outings of her career. Odor is currently second in the league in scoring, and seventh in the NSIC in rebounds.
Shelby Selland of Augustana University was selected as the NSIC South Division Player of the Week.
