The Pirates start their season with a game against East Grand Forks on Tuesday, November 13 at 7 p.m. at Crookston Sports Center.

    The Crookston Pirates officially kicked off the 2018-2019 winter sports season with their first practice. The Pirates underwent a change at the helm with Tim Moe taking over as the head coach. Moe previously coached the team and served as an assistant last year.

    Crookston returns their entire team from a year ago with the exception of their goaltender, Brelee Jobe, who recorded 1,068 saves last year during her senior year.

    In the 2017-2018 season, the Pirates posted a record of 5-21 and ended their season in the first round of the Section 8A Tournament.

    Crookston was led in scoring by Catherine Tiedemann (So.) with 14 goals. Aleah Bienek (Fr.) and Mackenze Epema (So.) each tallied 12 assists to lead the team.
