The Pirates of the Week are Blake Fee, Kylie Solheim, Aleah Bienek, Joslynn Leach, Logan Wardner, Hayden Winjum and Claire Oman.

Blake Fee - Sr. TE/DE

Head Coach Scott Butt says, “Blake had four tackles and ran a great fake punt on Friday night. Blake played extremely hard and did a very good job of forcing runners back inside. Blake is a hard working young man that is a great teammate and a really great person.”

Kylie Solheim - Sr. S

Head Coach Ashley Stopa says, “Kylie is a senior captain who brings tenacity, passion and hustle every time she steps on the court. She recently tallied an impressive 45 assists in a match. Kylie has taken control in the setting spot making it look easy as she runs around to ensure our hitters can swing. Defensively, she is rock solid making sure nothing ever touches the ground. She will be missed as she has been a great leader on and off the volleyball court.”

Girls’ Soccer

Aleah Bienek - Fr. M
Joslynn Leach - So. M

Head Coach Sarah Reese says, “Both Aleah and Joslynn played excellent against Fergus Falls and had good positioning and passing.”

Boys’ Soccer

Logan Wardner - Sr. GK

Head Coach Don Cox says, “Logan’s performance in our final regular season game against EGF was amazing. He made many spectacular saves and combined with our defenders to keep us tied with EGF for close to 30 minutes to ensure we did not end the season with a loss. He has been a solid performer for us throughout his high school career and will be a key factor for us as we get ready for postseason section playoffs.”

Girls’ Tennis

Hayden Winjum - Fr.

Head Coach Mike Geffre says, “Hayden finished last year’s section tournament strong and has took up where she left off. Hayden has played one of the top spots in our lineup all year. She has great foot quickness and tenacity. When Hayden plays a match, I know she will never quit and will fight until the end.”

Girls’ Swimming

Claire Oman - Fr.

Assistant Coach Aly Bergstrom says, “Claire has had a solid season so far with time improvements throughout several meets. She has proven to be a strong component in filling the less-popular individual events such as the 500 freestyle and the 200 IM. Claire continues to contribute points for the team in her individual events as well as through her relays. I look forward to seeing the progress that Claire makes as we get into the last few meets of the season.”
