This week's Pirates of the Week are Lukas Meier, Hailey Seaver, Hannah Emanuel, Dilon Owens, Eden Haller and Victoria Proulx.

Lukas Meier - Sr. RB/LB

Head Coach Scott Butt says, “Lukas is an outstanding player and a very good leader on the field. He plays extremely hard. He is a joy to coach and be around.”

Hailey Seaver - Sr. MB

Head Coach Ashley Stopa says, “Hailey Seaver is a standout senior this year. Recently, she has been placed all the way around in the back row and front. She’s really shown her strength of being aggressive and being a leader on the court. We really appreciate every time she goes on with her positive attitude.”

Girls’ Soccer

Hannah Emanuel - Sr. D

Head Coach Sarah Reese says, “Emanuel is a senior defender and is an experienced player on the soccer field. She puts her heart and soul into the game of soccer. Hannah comes equipped with great skills and soccer sense. We appreciate her leadership and guidance.”

Boys’ Soccer

Dilon Owens - Sr. D

Head Coach Don Cox says, “Dilon is a senior captain, plays defensive back and is one of our best defenders. He has an uncanny ability to read the offense and track the ball, often meeting the attacker before he can get his shot off. Dilon has been responsible for turning many an attacker away and for starting many of our counterattacks.”

Girls’ Tennis

Eden Haller - Jr.

Head Coach Mike Geffre says, “Eden is a junior who had a really great week of tennis. Even though she lost to Moorhead and TRF, she is playing great tennis. Eden lost two close three-set matches and played over four hours of tennis on Tuesday against two of the top teams in Section 8AA. If Eden keeps improving, she will be one of our important go-to players for the section tournament.”

Girls’ Swimming

Victoria Proulx - So.

Assistant Coach Aly Bergstrom says, “Victoria is a sophomore this year and had a great meet last Thursday. Victoria's two main events are the 100 butterfly and the 100 freestyle. During the meet on Thursday, Victoria cut seven seconds off of her butterfly, bringing her to edge out a competitor. I look forward to seeing Victoria continue to improve throughout the season.”
