The Golden Eagles will play eight games as they prepare for the 2018 regular season.

    The University of Minnesota Crookston women’s soccer program is set to open their 2018 spring season in April. The Golden Eagles will play eight games as they prepare for the 2018 regular season.

    Minnesota Crookston opens up action in the spring Sat., April. 7 as the Golden Eagles play two matches against conference opponents on the campus of Minnesota State University Moorhead in Moorhead, Minn.. Minnesota Crookston will face MSU Moorhead at 9:30 a.m. and St. Cloud State University at 10:45 a.m.

    The Golden Eagles will continue their spring schedule Wed., April 11 as Minnesota Crookston takes on Division I foe University of North Dakota at 6:30 p.m. at East Grand Forks High School.

    Minnesota Crookston will then head to St. Paul, Minn. for a pair of games Sat., April 14 at Sea Foam Stadium. The Golden Eagles will face Concordia University-St. Paul at 9:30 a.m. and University of Minnesota Duluth at 11:30 a.m.

    UMC will trek down U.S. Highway 2 to take on Bemidji State University Thurs., April 19 at 7 p.m. at Chet Anderson Stadium.

    Minnesota Crookston wraps up their spring slate April 21 at the Minnesota Crookston Soccer Field. The Golden Eagles will take on Orono U-17 Premier at 10 a.m., followed by the spring finale at 3 p.m. as the Golden Eagles take on the program’s alumni at 3 p.m. An alumni social will be held at 6:30 p.m. at I.C.     The Golden Eagles return 16 players to the fold for the 2018 season as they look to improve on a 0-14-3 mark last season. Minnesota Crookston has six regular starters returning to the fold, along with two others who started six or more games during the 2017 slate. The Golden Eagles are lead by coach Alianiello, who enters his seventh season in 2018.
