Red River Basin Commission to Host 42nd Annual Land and Water International Summit Conference

The Red River Basin Commission (RRBC) is proud to announce the 42nd Annual Land and Water International Summit Conference, scheduled for January 14-16, 2025, at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, ND. This annual event brings together leading experts, stakeholders, and community members to explore innovative solutions and strategies for water management, sustainability, and resilience within the Red River Basin.

This year’s conference theme, “Cultivating Resilient Partnerships for a Sustainable Future,” highlights the critical role of collaboration in addressing the Basin’s complex water management challenges. The event will feature an engaging lineup of keynote speakers, and breakout sessions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with vendors showcasing the latest technologies and services in water and land management.

Keynote speaker Scott Bishop, renowned for his expertise in environmental policy and water sustainability, will headline the conference, offering insights on building cross-sector partnerships to achieve long-term environmental goals.

The conference will also include:

  • A pre-conference workshop on January 14, exploring biodiversity, water quality, water quantity and social and education goals.
  • A banquet on January 15, with a focus on celebrating community milestones and recognizing leadership in water stewardship.
