T-wolves’ Edwards fined $40K by NBA for homophobic remark

NEW YORK (AP) — Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards was fined $40,000 by the NBA on Tuesday for homophobic comments he made on social media. The league announced the punishment for Edwards' use of 'offensive and derogatory language' in a since-deleted Instagram video he later apologized for.

Girls’ Soccer“

Joslyn “Jojo” Wallace Jojo a returning Defender has played consistently well for us all season. Last weekend at Melrose she had stellar games against Melrose and Rocori. She played all 80 minutes in both games. She was communicating with her peers, making great runs to provide help defense, commanding the center and made great distributions to transition the ball out of our defensive third.

Chloe has really stepped in to the role of the 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle swimmer. Chloe is a hard worker always looking to be challenged, pushed and never backs away form a hard practice.

Kaden played a great game on Tuesday at Pelican Rapids. Aside from playing great defense, Kaden had an outstanding assist to Caden Boike for the team's only score in the Pirates 1-0 win! Kaden has been having an exceptional season and has really improved his game!

Education and support at this key stage empowers people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) to make the best choices possible for their treatment moving forward. The APDA Parkinson’s Good Start Program is taking place on Wednesday, October 12, and Wednesday, October 19, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Court affirms fines against bars who violated mask mandate

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A Minnesota appeals court panel has sided with the state health department over fines against bars that violated emergency safety orders during the coronavirus pandemic. The three judges, in a ruling issued Monday, affirmed the health department's authority to suspend the bars' license and levy fines.
