Minnesota Crookston Men’s Golf Takes Fifth at Ichabod Invitational in Kansas

TOPEKA, Kan. – The University of Minnesota Crookston men’s golf team finished fifth of 12 teams at the Ichabod Invitational at Topeka Country Club in Topeka, Kan. The Golden Eagles put together rounds of 304, 209, and 308 for a combined score of 911. UMN Crookston has placed fifth or above in tournaments this fall, including taking second of 11 teams at the Bemidji State University Invitational.

Janis “Jan” Ann Williams

Janis “Jan” Ann Williams, 71, of Maple Lake, near Mentor, passed away Wednesday morning, September 28, 2022, at the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, N.D., with her loving family at her side. Jan was born in Mankato on July 26, 1951, the daughter and only child of Bernard Anthony and Muriel Ann (Earl) Nentl.

Carole Marie Juvrud, 77, of Crookston passed away early Friday morning, September 30, 2022, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. Carole was born in Crookston on July 6, 1945, the daughter of Oren and Edna (Butenhoff) Seaton.

Danielle has developed into a great libero for our team. Every day she shows up ready to challenge herself and is always wanting feed back from coaches on how to improve. As a sophomore Dani has a great natural volleyball sense on the court and she always has a positive mindset!
