Crookston Chamber Candidate Forum Scheduled

The Crookston Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Candidate Forum for local offices in preparation for the upcoming general election. The event will be held in the Crookston High School Auditorium on Tuesday, October 18th starting at 6 pm. Candidates for the following offices have been invited: Crookston School Board, Crookston City Council, Crookston Mayor, Polk County Commissioner. Minnesota State House of Representatives District 1B, and Minnesota State Senate District 1.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — More than 1 million Minnesotans have qualified for bonus checks to frontline workers to recognize their work during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the payments will be for less than $500, the governor's office announced Monday.
