School board seeks input on next superintendent

The Crookston School Board is conducting a search for the district's next superintendent and is looking for input from district stakeholders. The board is asking district stakeholders to complete an online survey to help find the right candidate.

Altru Nurse Earns DAISY Award Recognition for Compassionate Care

Brady Meyer, RN, a nurse at Altru Health System in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), is being honored with The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation's mission to recognize the extraordinary, compassionate nursing care nurses provide patients and families every day.

The following American Legion Auxiliary scholarship applications are now available at the Crookston High School Guidance Office or Margee Keller, local Scholarship Chairperson. Area school students eligible for some also. American Legion Auxiliary to sponsor two for Girls State

The Crookston American Legion Auxiliary Unit 20 will again sponsor two girls to attend the 77th Annual Minnesota Girls State Session from June 1117,2023 at Bethel College. Girls who are currently high school juniors are eligible to be a candidate to attend. All fees are paid. No cost to you personally.

State Representatives sworn into office, 2023 session begins

Saint Paul, Minn. – Today members of the Minnesota House of Representatives took their oath of office and will serve as state representatives for the next two years. The Minnesota House has 134 members in all, with a Democratic- Farmer-Labor Party majority of 70 seats.
