William Dean Sewill was born to Nathaniel Kenneth Sewill and Breanna Elizabeth Hartl-Sewill of Moorhead, MN on Sunday evening, March 5, 2023, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, N.D, and went to his Heavenly home early Monday morning, March 6. His life will be celebrated at a memorial service at 2 p.m.

Lifelong passion leads to full time rescue facility for dogs and cats

Rescuing pets has been a passion for Sidney Williams since she was young. Williams would routinely find stray cats and care for them at her grandma’s house. One of those strays would become her childhood pet. She named the cat Smiley. Now for a little more than a year, she turned her passion into a full time calling setting up a rescue facility in Fertile named, of course, Smiley’s.

Luthern Church uses hotdishs to raise funds

The staff of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and School hosted a hotdish competition fundraiser on Tuesday, March 7. Ten staff members participated and entered their favorite family hotdish recipes.

Schneider Named NSIC Player of the Week
