Last week, a terrible accident took the lives of many Junior Hockey Team players and staff from a small community (Humboldt Saskatchewan), as they were being bussed to a playoff game.  As of today, 16 people have lost their lives and many others remain injured.

In a world where so much tragedy surfaces, nearly daily, this is still something that is so unexpected, difficult to understand, and devastating for a community of just slightly more than 5,800 people.  As a rather hockey-mad state, I am hopeful that people here are able to reach out to offer words of healing and assistance to help cover medical costs and other needs as they arise for the survivors, families and community.
