People living on Radisson Road like to take care of their yards and properties because they care about the way they look. But since we had our street project done this summer, the weeds are growing out of control on some of our boulevards and the City doesn't seem very interested in doing anything about it.

In some spots it’s so bad you can’t even see the markers for natural gas and water lines. I don’t even dare mow it because I don’t think my mower could take it. Plus, what good would mowing do? This is not fair to people who like to take care of their yards.

Public Works Director Pat Kelly has been talked to about this, and Building Official Matt Johnson has, too. They say that Ricard Sodding is in charge of getting sod in there, but if the City is paying Ricard Sodding then this is the City’s responsibility to take care of.

The City makes all kinds of codes that residents are required to live by, but when it comes to these huge weeds, the only one violating it is the City! But everybody just keeps passing the buck.

Thank you to Steve Erickson, our council member, who had the courtesy to say something about this to the city council.

We take care of our yards but this looks terrible. Even if we make the rest of our property look nice, this still looks terrible.
