A Fertile man suffered non-life threatening injuries when, according to the Minnesota State Patrol, he fell asleep behind the wheel late Monday afternoon, entered the ditch and struck a field embankment.
According to the State Patrol report, minutes before 5 p.m. May 18, Johnathan Daniel Clarke, 22, was southbound on Minnesota Highway 32 north of 410th St. in a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado when he fell asleep the left the road. He was wearing his seat belt. Alcohol was not involved.
Clarke was transported to RiverView Health in Crookston.
