Here are the latest local updates relating to the COVID-19 pandemic:

    • The City’s Spring Clean-Up Week, scheduled for the last week of April, is not happening. Whether it’s postponed or if the community will conduct only one clean-up week this year in the fall remains to be seen.

    • The Crookston City Council and Ways & Means Committee will meet Monday, April 13 beginning at 7 p.m. in the city hall council chambers, but due to social distancing, seating will be limited. If you want to participate by phone and speak during the public forum, you can call 281-4515.

Meanwhile, a link on the City of Crookston website is being set up so people can listen to the meetings live. More details on that are coming later this week.

    • Appointments are needed for services at RiverView Health’s Laboratory, including ongoing lab orders and direct-access lab services.

Call 281-9424 to schedule appointments. When you arrive, call the same number from the parking lot to check in. Lab staff will then direct you to enter the building for your appointment. Don’t proceed to the lab until you’re directed to.
