While Lake Agassiz Regional Library buildings remain closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, a number of free options for entertainment and education are available at larl.org, including popular tools for family genealogy research, homeschooling aids and more, all offered free-of-charge. 

The library is welcoming dozens of new cardholders daily, as those without library cards are being encouraged to sign up online. If eligible, applicants will receive a library card number within 24 hours which will give them free access to eBooks and eAudiobooks as well as education and research tools. To sign up visit larl.org/applyonline   New popular titles are added daily to the 20,000+ downloadable eBooks and eAudiobooks currently available through the library's collection in OverDrive. To begin downloading, users simply enter their library card number and select a title to download. 
  Those who are missing their local librarian will enjoy visiting larl.org/athome, where they can experience library events from the comfort of home, including watching Storytimes, Baby Bounces, STEM events and more.   Librarians are available to answer questions by call or text at 833-522-5275 from 9 AM-9 PM Monday through Friday.
