They approach $7,000 total.
The positive impact of the successful 2019 fundraising campaign by the United Way of Crookston is starting to be felt. Approximately 104% of the $160,000 goal has been raised.
This week, the Crookston School Board happily accepted a trio of donations from the United Way. They are:
• $3,625 to the United For Learning after-school program at Highland School
• $2,500 for the “Eat United” Summer Food Service program that will launch again in June
• $500 for the PATCH after-school homework-helper program at Crookston High School.
“Three very generous donations from the United Way,” School Board Chair Frank Fee said.
