First Community Credit Union (FCCU) recently hired Dana Jonsson as branch manager in Crookston.
As a branch manager, Jonsson is responsible for directing and managing the activities of the Crookston and surrounding area markets to meet the financial service needs and objectives of the membership. Jonsson is originally from Grafton, N.D. She is a graduate of University of Minnesota Crookston with a degree in Business Management and Marketing.
Prior to joining FCCU, Jonsson worked for US Bank in Grand Forks for a year and half as Branch Manager and Stockman Bank in Montana for 11 years as Vice President and Ag Loan officer.
During its 80-year history, First Community Credit Union has grown to be North Dakota’s largest Credit Union with 28 branch locations in 23 communities. As a credit union, FCCU is owned by its members. This is different than other financial institutions which are owned by a select group of stockholders. The Credit Union's profits are returned to the members in the form of better services, accounts, and favorable rates on savings and loans.
