Everyone is invited to attend the Student Awards Celebration at the University of Minnesota Crookston on Thursday, April 25, which will also feature the final visit to the Crookston campus by University of Minnesota President Eric Kaler before he retires this summer.

    The evening begins with refreshments from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Kiehle Rotunda followed by the program in Kiehle Auditorium at 5:30 p.m., and highlighted by remarks by Kaler.  

    Kaler will be stepping down in July 2019 after seven years at the helm of the University of Minnesota system.

    The student awards program is focused on student achievement in academics, athletics, and service. Concluding the evening is the announcement of Man and Woman of the Year, the top academic, service, and leadership award at UMN Crookston.
