The University of Minnesota Crookston’s 2019 International Dinner Series kicked off this week with cuisine and a program showcasing India.

The evening in Bede Ballroom was hosted by software engineering major Navjot Singh, of Punjab, India.

After the meal, Singh presented a detailed program on his country and what it means to be a “Sikh.”

Among the evening’s entertainers was software engineering major Anthony Kampa who played piano after taking his first lesson on campus last fall.

The next meal on March 11 will showcase Nigeria.
