First 50 kids get a free book

Rotary Reading Night will be held Thursday, January 17 from 5-6 p.m. at the Crookston Public Library with members of the Crookston Rotary Club reading books to kids and families. The first 50 kids at the event will receive a free book. Refreshments will be served and kids can make their own bookmark, too.

To go with their year of service projects and with Rotary International having the goal to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, the Crookston club hopes this event will bring more families out for reading fun on a regular basis.
