Angel Tree goes up Dec. 3; Light Up a Life lighting ceremony Dec.

The Villa St. Vincent/The Summit welcomes the holiday season with two of their annual celebrations.

The “Angel Tree” will be set up on Monday, Dec. 3 and remain up until Dec. 4, or whenever all of the “Angels” are claimed. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can select an “Angel” for every resident at the Villa St. Vincent. Community members can come to the Villa, pick an “Angel” or two from the tree, go shopping for a gift for their resident and return the gift to the Villa, where Santa will make deliveries before Christmas.

The Villa also invites you to “Light up a Life.” Your gift of $5 per name will light a bulb on the “Light Up A Life” tree. You may donate in memory of or in honor of that special someone. Envelopes may be picked up at the Villa or by contacting Tamara Parkin, volunteer coordinator.

The tree-lighting ceremony and reading of all the names will take place on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 4 p.m. inside the Villa St. Vincent east entryway. After the ceremony, the evening will wrap up with coffee and cookies. All are invited to attend.

All of the proceeds will benefit Villa Auxiliary projects.

For more information on both events, contact Parkin at 281-9723 or tamara.parkin@bhshealth.org.
