AgCountry Farm Credit Services in Crookston presented Fertile-Beltrami High School with FFA Handbooks for the school year.
The handbooks are given to FFA first year ‘greenhands’ to be used throughout the four-year FFA program. Amber Petry, senior customer service representative in Crookston, presented handbooks to FFA instructor Whitney Rupprecht and FFA member Britton Fuglseth.
This is the 42nd year that the Farm Credit Services associations in North Dakota have donated FFA Handbooks to agricultural students in area schools. This year, approximately 80 high school agriculture education programs in Minnesota and North Dakota will receive over 2,600 of student handbooks for the start of the 2018/2019 school year from the Farm Credit Services associations in North Dakota.
For over four decades, nearly 79,000 books have been presented to FFA-first year 'greenhands' to be used throughout the four-year FFA program.
