    Brent Lindstrom of East Grand Forks received the endorsement of the Minnesota House District 1B delegates at the DFL Senate District 1 Endorsing Convention in Thief River Falls on Tuesday, May 29.

    A retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force with 21 years of active duty service, Lindstrom said of the endorsement, “I feel it’s my duty to continue to serve my country by seeking this office, so I’m honored and humbled to have received the DFL endorsement.”

    District 1B State Rep. Deb Kiel, a Republican from rural Crookston, is currently serving her third term in St. Paul.

    The Lake Bronson native has lived in East Grand Forks since 2004.  He is a graduate of the University of North Dakota, and is founder and past president of the Grand Cities Lacrosse Association. Lindstrom is currently employed by New Flyer of America in Crookston and is a member of the Communication Workers of America, Local 7304.

    Brent is married to Constance Lindstrom, a senior biofuels analyst for Christianson, PLLP, an ag-focused accounting and consulting business based in west central Minnesota. Brent and Constance have three adult sons. For more, visit brentlindstrom.org.
