Villa St Vincent/The SUMMIT saluted its volunteers as part of National Volunteer Week, April 24 – 28.

On Wednesday April 26 Villa St Vincent/The SUMMIT celebrated “Volunteer Recognition Day” to honor the many individuals who dedicate themselves to the Residents, Tenants and Short Term Care Clients on campus.

Our volunteers give countless hours of time and their talents making others happy.

In 2016 at total of 184 volunteers ranging in age from 2 months to 99 plus years old donated over 5,181 hours volunteering.  It is amazing the impact a baby, toddler and school children have on our residents/tenants, as well as the wisdom and friendship of the older generations on our residents/tenants are equally as valuable.

We are honored and so very grateful for all of our volunteers.

In 2016, we had 20 Volunteer who donated over 50 hours of service.

They are: Lou Ann Anderson, Mary Anderson, Cecile Baatz, Allean Boschee, Kevin Boyle, Sister Jeanne Campeau, Judy Ellingson, Jerry Fenno, Jean Hanson, Sister Joanne Johnson, Sister Barb Kaufmann, Marilyn Leblanc, Marvin Magnuson, Marlys Mjoen, Father Mario Prada, Ann Riedlinger, Diane Seddon, Lennard Sorenson, Lucille Torkelson and Cleo Vaule.

Volunteers are priceless and crucial to our organization.

We hope everyone will consider making a difference by becoming a volunteer themselves.
