Signed copies available in Crookston; book features several submissions from girls in and around Crookston.
Author, international speaker, and storyteller, Reneé Rongen from Fertile, has just released her second book in the award winning Fundamentally FemaleTM series, I’m A Girl … That’s Why! offering a collection for what she sees as an underrepresented demographic, girls ages 12-18. Rongen has been delivering humorous, powerful, life-changing messages, across the country for more than 20 years, encouraging her audiences to use their unique gifts to make positive differences in their world; she is excited to share a similar message through her latest work.
I’m A Girl … That’s Why! explores many topics important to adolescent girls, with each story, quote, or artwork submitted by girls 12-18 years old and ready to be seen and heard through the global movement #ImAGirl. This candid collection speaks to teenage girls in search of confirmation, inspiration, and joy as it peels away the layers to expose the very soul of womanhood throughout the transformative stages of a young woman’s life. A number of submissions were selected from girls in the Crookston area.
I’m A Girl … That’s Why! is currently available at reneerongen.com and amazon.com. Also, signed copies can be found at Montagues Flower Shop and Limited Addition Gift Shop at Riverview Health, both in Crookston, and Thrifty White Drug in Fertile.
