Family fun continues through Sunday

One of the most exciting things about summer are county fairs, and for Crookston residents the big attraction is the Polk County Fair in Fertile, which kicks off Wednesday, July 6.

There is a lot to offer at this fair this year, which runs through Sunday, July 10. You can load up on deep fried food, ride rides on the midway until you’re dizzy and queasy, watch performances at the free-stage and grandstand events, and give some love to the animals in the petting zoo and animal exhibits.
