Law enforcement were called to the Crookston Walmart store Friday evening after 8 p.m. for a bomb threat. After the store was evacuated of customers and employees, the building was searched and reopened a few hours later.

Law enforcement were called to the Crookston Walmart store Friday evening after 8 p.m. for a bomb threat. After the store was evacuated of customers and employees, the building was searched and reopened a few hours later.

Local law enforcement, including the Crookston Police Department, Polk County Dispatchers, Polk County Sheriff's Deputies, Minnesota State Patrol, University of Minnesota Crookston Security Services and the Crookston Fire Department, blocked off roads leading to and from Walmart as investigators interviewed employees and customers.

The CPD says no other details are available at this time as the case remains active.
