Janet Olson

 Janet Olson, 70, of Clearbrook died on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Itasca Hospital in Grand Rapids.
 Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 2 p.m. at United Lutheran Church in Berner with Pastor Kris Snyder officiating. A visitation waill be held one hour prior. Interment will be held at Bagley City Cemetery in Bagley in the Spring.
 The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
 Janet Faye Klema was born on August 1, 1952, in Ogden, Utah to Alvin and Hulda (Johnson) Klema. Janet was baptized and confirmed into Faith at Assembly of God in Ogden, Utah. She attended Club Heights Elementary, TH Bell Jr. High and graduated from Bonneville High School in 1971. Her first car was a bright yellow Chevy Vega and she was very proud of it. During high school she worked as a housekeeper cleaning motels. When she was younger Janet learned and loved to square dance. In 1975 she went on a trip of a lifetime spending a month in Japan traveling and square dancing with a friend. Later she worked at Pepperidge Farms in Richmond, Utah packaging cookies, and for Presto Products in Lewiston, Idaho until her retirement.
 She married Marlin Olson on June 30, 2001, at United Lutheran Church in Berner. They made their home in Clearbrook. Janet was a very special person to many people, as she always remembered holidays and birthdays with cards and phone calls each and every year. Her nieces and nephews were very important to her; she cherished being with them and enjoyed taking them out to eat. To them she was always “Auntie Faye”! Janet liked to try her luck at the Casinos and going out to eat. Her greatest joy was always visiting with family and friends. Janet was a part of planning and organizing local blood drives. She collected spoons, owls, and Smurfs.
 Janet was a member of the Clearbrook American Legion Post #56 Auxiliary, a member of the Clearbrook Community Club, and a member of the Square Dance Club for 30 years.
 Janet is survived by her husband Marlin Olson of Clearbrook; sister – Julie Eshbach of Utah; brother – Gary Klema of Utah; brother – Paul Klema of Utah; sister-in-law – Virginia (Jim) Faldet of Gonvick; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
 She was preceded in death by her parents – Alvin and Hulda Kelma; brother – Brad Cody and sister – Carol Wirth.
