WINONA, Minn. – The University of Minnesota and 10 rebounds. Fox has Crookston women’s basketball team extended their winning streak to four games with a 63-58 victory over Winona State University Friday, January 6 at McCown Gymnasium in Winona, Minn. Emma Miller (Fr., G, Albertville, Minn.) secured her seventh-straight double- digit scoring game with a team-high 22 points.

Winona, Minn. – Minnesota Crookston and Winona State played in a low scoring affair on Friday night in Mc-Cown Gymnasium, but Winona State pulled away late for the five point victory, 58-53.

Minnesota Crookston trailed by 11 with less than five minutes to go in the game and got the game to just one with under a minute left, but the University of Mary was able to escape with a 80-76 victory over Minnesota Crookston in NSIC men’s basketball action.

The University of Minnesota Crookston women’s basketball team ended 2022 with a 78-64 victory over the University of Mary at Gary Senske Court at Lysaker Gymnasium. The Golden Eagles picked up the weekend sweep after defeating Minot State University Friday.

Minnesota Crookston led by one at the half, but Minot State outscored the Golden Eagles by 21 to knock off Minnesota Crookston, 77-57, in NSIC men’s basketball play on Friday night. Minot State improves to 7-4 (4-3 NSIC), while the Golden Eagles fall to 1-12 (0-7 NSIC).

The University of Minnesota Crookston women’s basketball team used a team effort to take down Minot State University 70-58 Friday, December 30 at Gary Senske Court at Lysaker Gymnasium. UMN Crookston did a great job of moving the ball and finding open shots. The Golden Eagles went 26-of-64 from the field for 40.6 percent. Minnesota Crookston was 8-of-32 from beyond the arc for 25.0 percent. In addition, the Golden Eagles were 10of-13 from the stripe for 76.9 percent.

On behalf of its allied golf associations and its member golf clubs across the state, the Minnesota Golf Association has completed an annual facility rounds study to more accurately track golf participation in the state.
