Minnesota Crookston Basketball Teams Have Six Named to NSIC Winter All-Academic Teams

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston had six student-athletes named to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Teams announced last week. Minnesota Crookston had one men’s basketball student- athlete and five women’s basketball student-athletes receive the accolade. The NSIC announced that 767 student-athletes have earned NSIC All-Academic honors for the 2022-23 winter athletic season; 460 student-athletes were named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, while 307 earned NSIC All-Academic Team honors.

Minnesota Crookston Jumping Seat Equestrian Has Great Weekend at IHSA Home Meets

The University of Minnesota Crookston jumping seat equestrian squad had a great weekend in a pair of home meets at Charles H. Casey Equine Arena. The Golden Eagles earned High Point Team accolades Saturday, March 4 and tied for High Point honors with the University of Wisconsin- River Falls Sunday. Juliana Gullo (Fr., Itasca, Ill.) took High Point Rider honors Saturday, while Alexandra Wentland (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) finished as the Reserve High Point Rider. In Sunday’s show, Kristen Borchert (Fr., Coon Rapids, Minn.) was High Point Rider, while Keira Boedigheimer (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) took Reserve High Point Rider accolades.
