Education and American Democracy

On August 22, 1862, The New York Tribune published a letter President Abraham Lin-coln had written to editor Horace Greeley; notable in that letter was this quote: “If I could save the Union without freeing any slaves, I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would also do that.”

The son with the loader stops with his front wheels on the shoulder of the road and puts the bale on the trailer. The bale wagon is stopped on the state highway in the lane of traffic so the bale can be loaded. Is this legal?

In 1999, my son and I were in that theater and I will never forget the expressions on the faces of the British people as they watched.
