Jeremiah 33: 22a “As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured.” To have an earthbound mindset is not beneficial for a discerning person desiring to make a decision about what he/ she believes about God and the Bible. When we consider the cosmos, for many, it is impossible to rule out the concept of creation and a Creator.

As the Sheriff of Polk County, I was elected to enforce our laws and keep our community safe. With the Minnesota Legislature considering the legalization of recreational marijuana (cannabis). These bills have been moving through the legislature at a rapid pace, and I am concerned that state lawmakers may not address some key public safety issues that would arise if cannabis became legalized this session.
