Whether they have family members in the military or have served themselves, honor and patriotism is abundant in rural America. UMN Crookston and Archi’s Institute offer agribusiness opportunity for veterans and military service members

After leaving the military, some veterans are unsure of what they’ll do for a career or how to provide for their family. An opportunity in agribusiness came together thanks to a partnership with the University of Minnesota Crookston and Archi’s Institute for Sustainable Agriculture (AISA) of California.

Minnesota Medical Association Encourages Minnesotans to Get Vaccinated Before the Holidays

MINNEAPOLIS – As the weather turns colder and the holidays approach, the Minnesota Medical Association (MMA) urges all eligible Minnesotans to get their COVID-19 booster and seasonal flu shot. “We’ve been lucky to have a mild fall so far, but soon the weather will turn colder, and the holidays will bring more people inside to gather in large groups,” said MMA President Will Nicholson, MD.

APLU names UMN Crookston as an Innovation & Economic Prosperity designee

In recognition of its strong commitment to economic engagement, the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) designated the University of Minnesota Crookston as an Innovation & Economic Prosperity University during their annual meeting held November 6, 2022. The national designation acknowledges public research universities working with public and private sector partners in their states and regions to support economic development through a variety of activities, including innovation and entrepreneurship, technology transfer, talent and workforce development, and community development.
