Hennepin Theatre Trust, Douglas Flanders & Associates Gallery and the 50th & France Business Association display iconic, vintage figurines from Dayton’s Holiday Show

Display kicks off a fundraising effort to fully refurbish all 34 Dayton’s Holiday Show figurines in Hennepin Theatre Trust’s collection This holiday season, Hennepin Theatre Trust, Douglas Flanders & Associates Gallery and the 50th & France Business Association present a display of five vintage figurines from historic Dayton’s Holiday Show events. The five figurines will be on display throughout the holiday shopping season in the windows of Douglas Flanders & Associates Gallery at 5025 France Ave.

Three Awards Support Agricultural Mental Health

Three new projects are joining the Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s (MDA) Bend, Don’t Break Initiative to help Minnesota farmers cope with adversity. “Agriculture can be a tough profession and Minnesota farmers experience a wide variety of physical, mental, and business stresses day-today and season-to-season,” Minnesota Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen said.

Greater Minnesota watching for confirmation of the “One Minnesota”message

With the dust from the recent election beginning to settle, members of the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities (CGMC) gathered in Alexandria last week to evaluate the results and their potential impact on Greater Minnesota priorities at the legislature in 2023. Much of the discussion revolved around the DFL securing a “trifecta,” winning both chambers of the legislature and the Governor’s office, and what it could mean given the predominance of metro-based legislators amongst their ranks.

Minnesota Commerce Department announces Michelle Gransee as new Deputy Commissioner for Energy Resources

Minnesota Commerce Commissioner Grace Arnold is announcing new leadership for the Commerce Division of Energy Resources and appointing Michelle Gransee as Deputy Commissioner. Gransee brings over a decade of experience working at Commerce, most recently as director of the State Energy Office.
