Tax Delinquency List Updated

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Revenue has updated its online posting of Minnesota businesses prohibited from purchasing liquor, beer or wine to resell. The department updates the list each month to reflect companies that have failed to pay taxes to the state.

Multiple agencies respond to crash east of Crookston

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the intersection of 260th St SW and 170th Ave SW on July 10 at approximately 5 p.m. for a single vehicle crash. Deputies were advised that there were two people inside the vehicle and, when deputies arrived on scene, they located a single vehicle in the east ditch of 260th St SW. The vehicle appeared to have hit the culvert and the driver and passenger were checked out by the Crookston Area Ambulance. Both driver and passenger refused fur ther medical treatment.

Property owners in Polk County asked to complete flood damage assessment survey by July 15

Minnesota Homeland Security and Emergency Management officials are requesting damages to private property due to recent flooding. All property owners in Polk County who sustained flood damage to their private property from April 22, 2022, to present, are asked to complete a damage assessment survey by no later than Friday, July 15.

Crookston Area Chamber of Commerce announces return of Leadership Crookston

The Crookston Area Chamber of Commerce is bringing the Leadership Crookston program back to the community in 2022. The series gives participants a chance to learn about Crookston by taking a closer look at organizations in a variety of segments of the Crookston economy. Participants also learn about leadership from people involved with those organizations.
