Lizakowski among UMD’s Labovitz School of Business and Economics spring academic award winners

Crookston High School alum Jaeden Lizakowski is among the Labovitz School of Business and Economics at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) recipients of Spring Semester's Excellence and Achievement academic awards. Lizakowski, a senior majoring in Marketing, received the Academic Excellence in Marketing award.

City looks to reschedule corridor study public meeting, administrator candidate interviews due to recent high water event

Due to recent flooding of the Red Lake River in Crookston and the high water emergency, the City Council is considering rescheduling both the Highway 2 Corridor Study public meeting previously set for April 28 and the city administrator candidate in-person interviews previously set for May 2 and 3. Interim City Administrator Corky Reynolds told the Council he would direct city staff to select a better date for the corridor open house and that he would contact David Drown & Associates’ consultant to see what might best work for the candidates.
