Polk County Fair will be held July 6-10 at fairgrounds in Fertile

Minnesota's Polk County Fair is celebrating 121 years of family fun July 6-10 at the fairgrounds in Fertile. "Five big days of action, excitement, entertainment and celebration" include exhibitions, rodeo, chocolate contest, midway carnival rides, talent contest, kid's pedal pull, baja racing, Dock Dogs, 5K walk/run, parade, demo derby, fireworks and much more.

Northwest School of Agriculture held their 2022 reunion June 24 at UMN Crookston

Northwest School of Agriculture classmates and friends gathered to reminisce, reconnect and celebrate during their 2022 reunion held June 24 on the University of Minnesota Crookston campus. A highlight of the event was the recognition of this year’s Top Aggies - Eloise Wold Sobtzak (Class of 1957), Keith Miller (Class of 1958) and Gary Pedersen (Class of 1964.)

‘Downtown Tuesday Tunes’ summer concert series launches June 28

Downtown Crookston Development Partnership is launching a summer concert series "Downtown Tuesday Tunes" for June, July and August and their first set is Tuesday, June 28 with music by A Touch of Brass and headliner The Jensen Sisters. The events will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on 2nd St. in the old Wayne Hotel parking lot with food, beverages, music and kids games.

Washington School PTO Picnic back after two years

After a two-year pause, Washington Elementary School's PTO resumed hosting a picnic for Early Childhood Family Education, School Readiness, and Kindergarten families. "The absence of the annual picnic, along with a sunny spring evening, drew a crowd of over 200 people to the school's playground where Washington teachers and staff helped serve food," said Washington School in a media release.
