A teacher and coach in Wahpeton who was accused of abusing two elementary school students has been cleared to return to work, though under certain conditions.

The male teacher was never charged with a crime. He was, however, put on administrative leave earlier this month while authorities investigated.

The teacher was accused by parents of pushing two fifth-grade boys against a wall and cussing at them. WDAY-TV reports that school district administrators have decided to reinstate the teacher and not dock him any pay after an investigation by school, police and social services officials.

However, the report also says the teacher's conduct was inappropriate. He is being required to get counseling on how to handle stressful interactions with students.
