People love to vent to other people, it helps them get problems off their chests and out of their systems. For me, I have a love-hate relationship with complaining; the complaint takes a stand on a scale of either being interesting or obnoxious.

People love to vent to other people, it helps them get problems off their chests and out of their systems.  For me, I have a love-hate relationship with complaining; the complaint takes a stand on a scale of either being interesting or obnoxious.

There is little that is more satisfying than gossiping over a heated discussion of complaints or it’s just that thing people do that couldn't be any more annoying.

There are the simple things that people complain about on the daily basis.

Some of those little things consist of having to get up early in the morning to go to school or work and how they are too tired.  Yes, you may be tired, but so is everyone else.

We all have to wake up, and we all have responsibilities.  We all love to stay up all hours of the night watching Netflix, playing video games, reading books, or hanging out with friends, instead of getting some sleep.  Being tired is no one’s fault but your own.

Some people complain about having to wake up to go to their jobs while other people are complaining about being unemployed.  Posting statuses on social media saying, “Another week of being unemployed” will not help fix the problem of your unemployment.  There is always some type of work out there, and if not, start your own business.  No one is going to feel sorry for you because chances are you are not looking hard enough for a job.

Then there are those people that are complaining how they are single.  The reason why you are single is because you are complaining that you are single.

Guys who complain about being single are even worse because one of the ways to lose your macho image is to complain that you're unhitched and want someone to “cuddle” with.  Some people even complain about how they hate their boyfriend or girlfriend.  Instead of complaining about how much you hate them and how unhappy you are being in a relationship with them, then why don't you break up with them?  There are so many people out there that complain about how horrible their relationships are but are too afraid to just walk away from it all.

“I’m fat” or “I’m too weak” are other common statements. Body image is something people love to complain about.  Some people complain so much about how they think they are too fat, but in reality, it’s their body and they are in control of what their body looks like.

If they believe they are out of shape, then it’s their responsibility to change it.  No one is going to go to the gym and work out for them; it’s all on them.

Finally there are those people that complain about everything they could possibly complain about.  They are upset because they lay down in their bed and forgot to turn off the light and they have to get up out of bed to walk a few steps to turn it off.  They’ll complain about how they dropped their keys and curse to God that they have to bend over and pick them up.  Whatever they can think of, they will complain about it; you didn’t know it was possible to complain about some things until they did.

You will rarely see someone that has their life together complain about some things so small and easy to fix.  Instead they will do something about it rather than just sitting there and whining about it.

Complaining isn’t going to get you anywhere, and it definitely won't get things done in life.
