Riverland Tourism Association hosting conference in Crookston May 7.

The Riverland Tourism Association will be hosting a tourism conference entitled “Travelers: Making the Buck Stop Here” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7 in Crookston.     

    The conference will be held in Bede Ballroom at the University of Minnesota Crookston Sargeant Student Center.

    The seminar is designed to highlight tourism opportunities in northwest Minnesota.  

    A wide variety of sessions focusing on marketing and tourism trends will be presented.

    The presenters include Dave Bergman - Explore Minnesota Tourism; Rani Bhattacharyya - Northwest Regional Extension Office; Amy Degerstrom - Becker County Historical Society; Steve Eikman - Anchor Marketing; Brent Hales - University of Minnesota Extension Center for Community Vitality; Mike Wilmes - Wilmes Hospitality;  and, Mara Wittman - Northwest Minnesota Arts Council.
