Snowmobile radar runs return after being cancelled due to poor ice conditions last year.

    The 10th Annual Ice Buster Daze is coming up on Saturday, February 9. There will be several activities throughout the day. Starting off in the morning is the Eagles Breakfast from 8-11. The free-will offering  meal includes scrambled eggs, french toast, pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice.

    The snowmobile Radar Run will kick off at 11 a.m. and go until 3 p.m. on the Red Lake River. It consists of a 600-foot. run with ice and compact snow. You must be 18 or older and possess a Snowmobile Safety Certification in order to participate. The cost is $20/2 runs, which includes one meatball dinner ticket at the Eagles from 5:30-8 p.m., where there will be the chance to win raffle prizes. If a participant wants to do more, it's an additional $5 for 2 runs.

    In the afternoon, there will be ice fishing held on the Red Lake River at Central Park. The cost is $20/hole with registration starting at noon. The charge includes a ticket for 1 meatball dinner at the Eagles, as well as a chance to win raffle prizes.

    Participants in both the Radar Run and the Fishing Derby are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages on the ice. Tickets for the event will be pre-sold at Ceason's Bait & Tackle. They will also be available at the gate.
